Judy's Homemade Stuffing

1 loaf bread, cut into cubes and dried overnight
2 cubes butter
1 small yellow onion, chopped finely
1 small bunch celery, chopped finely
1 T sage
salt and pepper to taste

Preheat oven to 350. In saucepan, melt butter and saute onion and celery until carmelized. Dump bread cubes and butter mixture into bowl to combine; spread on a foil lined baking tray. Sprinkle with sage, salt and pepper. Bake for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
